So in our last posts you guys saw how Cruise and I created our costumes for Kevin and Russell from up for Disneyland's Pixar Fest. Well, we had plans to head out to the Fest again and this time wanted to change up our costumes so we decided to go with the Green Aliens from Toy Story.
I would like to point out that yes, I am TOTALLY copying Cruise's post, but hey I got pretty creative myself for Pixar Fest and I want to share too! But quick disclaimer, Cruise's post is far more detailed as I did not document my progress on my outfit. Anywho, Cruise and I knew we wanted to Disney Bound as Pixar Characters and I don't really know how we finally decided on Russell and Kevin for our first outfits for Pixar Fest.
This post is a video of Brittany and I packing for our backpacking trip in King’s Canyon National Park, but I’m also including some extra info to go along with the video, as well as links to some of the things we brought along with us.
First I decided to stop searching in Sequoia and move over to the Kings Canyon section of the duel park. While equally as beautiful, it’s just a bit further and attracts more of the adventure crowd and less of the tourists.
Hands down the most important thing I’ve learned since joining the hiking community is about the “The Ten Essentials”. This list is not only extensive and ridiculously well thought out, but also a legitimate lifesaver.
Whenever we find ourselves in a new place we absolutely cannot help but to find the best places for craft beer for Cruise and Vegetarian/Vegan delicacies for me. On our one evening in Fresno we managed to hop around to three different establishments and I had little to no disappointment the entire night.
